Most people decide to get a dog to enhance their lives. To give them a friend to make their home a little less quiet when they get home from work. To give you a reason to exercise on the weekends rather than stay in bed. To teach your kids responsibility, while also giving them a friend that will play with them, comfort them, and always have their backs, right? But sometimes it doesn’t work out like that. Sometimes what should have been late night snuggles turns into sleepless nights filled with barking and stress. That peaceful 8am walk turns into a sore arm from being dragged down the street for months straight and dodging and any living creatures you encounter.
Sometimes the puppy you have been dreaming of becomes a nightmare. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. In almost all situations, there is SO much potential for change. If you want it, and are willing to put in the work, change can be yours.
